A large variety of event rentals are available through MELI Parties (whether we are fully producing the event or not, our rentals are available directly for clients, planners and other design teams as well). Our collections consist of luxury tabletop pieces, furnishings, accompanying decor and more. Through extensive research, we have sourced a large variety of unique and high-quality items for our clients. Among these pieces you can find silver plated cutlery, sets made of olive tree wood or real bamboo, crystal and mouth blown glasses, porcelain plates and handmade ceramics, rare woven rattan pieces, and 100% linens. All our items can be combined in different ways for a stunning effect!

MELI was established in 1973 by Evi Mitsopoulou, as a result of her travels around the world. It started out as an interior design store called MELI Interiors, located in Athens, where Evi imported unique objects, furniture, accessories and textiles from places such as India, Thailand, other Asian as well as European countries. After immediate success, the company saw tremendous growth, with numerous store openings, collaborations, MELI collection showings at international fairs and awards to follow. Since then Evi took on numerous home design projects (in Greece, Cyprus, England, and Switzerland) and collaborated with various high-end professionals in the field.
Following the company's success, in 1987 Evi Mitsopoulou began MELI Parties (after carrying out a 1,200 guest wedding for one of the most prestigious Greek families) in order to take on large production private events. As even wedding tents were not yet available on the market, Evi designed everything from scratch for a long time, naturally building a rental collection and setting the example for the event industry to follow. She was a pioneer of her time, envisioning and designing spaces from beginning to end. She mastered the art of interiors & events, and her sons Dimitris & Nikos supported her along the way, helping her build and sustain the company.
The MELI clientele includes prestigious families, royalty, the government, celebrities, companies and individuals from Greece and abroad.
After studying Art, Media & Technology with focus on book & magazine design at Parsons School of Design in Paris & New York, Evi’s granddaughter Nitta worked with interior & event designer Antony Todd in NYC. She moved back to Athens to work by Evi’s side, as she recognised her rare talent, unstoppable creativity and authenticity. Raised in an environment of exceptional taste and surrounded by artists, Nitta has formed her own creative approach and can turn your initial thoughts into a fully realised plan, down to the last detail. She has now brought on a fresh air to the company, always within the original MELI spirit.
